Speaker
As most episodes refer to my 1-2-3 theory, I will provide an overview of it here. For new listeners, feel free to skip ahead 4 minutes if you know it already. In my twenties I created 2 interlocking theories as I needed a framework for three reasons. One, to know how to optimise my holistic wellbeing, to to have mutually beneficial relationships and letting go of toxic relationships and tangle nations with narcissists.
Speaker
3 to have lots of time and energy to give in to my positive impact businesses and contribute to the world in a meaningful way. I've now spent two decades putting the theories into practice. And they work, hence me now sharing them with the world. The 1-2-3 theory is a way to assess if you are optimised and able to give the most amount of love and energy to the world for the longest sustained time. The five fingered theory explores each domain of holistic health and works in conjunction with the 1-2-3 theory and helps you calibrate each department to have maximum output in your life.
Speaker
The 1-2-3 theory states you need to be in the order of the one. 2-3-1 is yourself. Two are your loved ones. Three is the rest of the world or your contribution. When you nurture your holistic wellbeing first one, then you are better able to have mutually beneficial relationships too. And as a byproduct of this combination, you have so much excess energy to give three your contribution to the world. This order of the 1-2-3 ensures maximum output in all departments for the longest duration. Some people are three, two ones or three one twos, putting their cause, business or mission before anything else.
Speaker
This isn't sustainable long term if you value health and relationships. Many empaths like I was in the past have the default setting of being a 2-1-3 giving to others before themselves, but that blocks their flow into their three and as a consequence they have little time and energy for their contribution. It's particularly dangerous to be a 2-1-3 when you are together with or around a narcissist as they are double one two threes or double one three twos where they put themselves first twice in an energy vamping way when an empath has it too at the start giving to others first.
Speaker
This fits like a jigsaw into the narcissist double one. This bond is notoriously risky for empaths and often hard to break, so I'm on a mission to help. Empaths becomes strong one two threes, or what I like to call super empaths so they can thrive in life, love and work and not get caught wasting years of their precious life in tangle nations. This podcast, the empath community I have built, and my book the 1-2-3 theory are all part of achieving this mission.
Speaker
To dive deeper into both theories, head over to the 1-2-3 theory.com where you can read or listen to my book. Now that you have the basic gist of the 1-2-3 theory, let's begin this podcast. Hello listeners, welcome to Empath Unplugged where up to podcast episode number twenty two and today's podcast is the 15 types of empath. There are so many different types of empaths, so today we're just gonna cover the main, most common 15 types. And this is so if you're new to the word empath and the concept of empath, it'll give you a bit of a brief overview of the kinds of traits different empaths have. Or maybe that you've just realised you're an empath yourself and you want to explore in depth what that actually means.
Speaker
Um, or maybe you're an empath that has various traits, but you don't know which type you are. And there could be some of you who. Already know the type of empath you are, but you want to get some ideas to expand your skills as an empath into other areas that you feel drawn to. So it might give you some ideas there. And one thing is common for all of the empaths, there are some traits that all of them share, and one of them is the one that I I call the invisible Unicorn horn I always feel like.
Speaker
As an empath, we have this almost like a radio antenna. I imagine it like a Unicorn horn because I like unicorns and the concept of what they represent, and it's like we can tune into different radio stations from other people and the different empaths. Have it's like they can tune into different stations and some of the combination empaths. Are a bit overwhelmed because they're listening to multiple stations at once, and it's no wonder that we sometimes feel exhausted because it's a lot of input of information we have to. Once we've taken it on, we have to understand and decipher. So we're gonna just go through the 15 common types. And what kind of skills they have, and some common scenarios you might find yourself in if you're one of these empaths.
Speaker
So here we go. Number one is the physical empath. Physical empaths can tune into other people's physical symptoms and tend to absorb them into their own body. So it's a very body based empath skill or empath style to be, and often they can actually identify what someone else needs just by looking at their face. And they have another skill that they can often tell when somebody is sick. Before the person even knows themselves, they can really tune into those body sensations.
Speaker
Another thing they can do is. Feeling what the other person has wrong with them in their own body. So a common scenario is. And a physical empath, getting a really sore leg from nowhere and then finding out later a close relative or someone they know really well has hurt their leg, so they're feeling that exact pain in their own body. So that's that's basically what physical empaths. Alike and what they can do and what they experience. Number two is emotional empaths. This is a very common empath to be. Most empaths are probably an emotional empath as well, and. That's the ability to feel the emotions of others as if it were their own emotions.
Speaker
So they know what people are thinking before they even say anything. And they're often really good at picking up on the moods of other people. And they know what makes them happy and their master accommodate us. Because of this fact. They can hold a space because they can feel what the other ones. State of emotions is and they can actually tweak the vibe to create a better outcome for the other one. If they're able to distinguish between the other person's mood and theirs. Sometimes they're not able to, and you can have these situations. Maybe somebody has come home from work in a really grumpy mood and an emotional empath could be just minding their own business, doing something at home and as soon as that person.
Speaker
With the intense mood, walks through that door, the emotional empath, it's like it just flicks a switch and they're feeling that exact feeling too, and. It that can be very hard to get back to your own feeling when when that just happens so suddenly. But when you are able to distinguish the two as an emotional empath, you're able to accommodate the space as well as lift the emotions of the other person and yours to a better place. But it's it's a skill you need to work on. Another situation is when you're around strangers, if you're an emotional. In Perth you could be in a waiting room of a surgery or somewhere and suddenly get this profound sense of sadness or anger.
Speaker
From basically no. It feels like from nowhere, but it is from somewhere usually, and it's often someone nearby that you're sitting there and if you look around. You'll pick up some more clues and you're probably just experiencing what they're experiencing and you've picked up on it. Just like a radio signal in your a Unicorn invisible antenna. Again, number three our intuitive empath. And they can tell what to do without any hard evidence or doubt. And they can see things that others cannot and just make decisions with confidence because they can trust their intuition.
Speaker
So a common scenario could be you might be looking for a new place to live and you look at an ad in the paper. I know there's a bit old school way to do it, but sometimes in little villages they still have little papers that go around and there may not be a photo. You might just see a few lines of text and you just feel inside yourself that that's where you're going to live and it's pretty much based on nothing apart from your intuition.
Speaker
And a few lines of text, and you end up applying for it and getting it, and it's the perfect house for you. That's a very common thing an intuitive empath might do, whereas a rational person with they're based on logic and rationality rather than just intuition, intuition. They would obviously do the research and go to the place and mark off a checklist and. Look logically and not even have any emotional connection to reading that little ad in the paper because they know information is missing. Whereas an intuitive empath gets the information without knowing how they got it, but they're confident in that because they feel it, and it's been proven true so many times.
Speaker
They know when the intuitions are correct or not. And they yeah, it's a inner GPS for them. And yeah, it's a wonderful skill to have. Number four is a telepathic empath, so they have the ability to hear other people's thoughts and feel their emotions. They're able to read minds of what people are thinking. It's very much ahead. A head based empath all about thoughts and it's often confused with being clairvoyant cause it has similar abilities but they use them differently. So clairvoyance can perceive things or events in the future beyond normal sensory contact, whereas a telepathic empath is they they lived in live in the world of thoughts, and they're capable of transmitting thoughts to other people and of receiving them knowing them this way.
Speaker
So it's less about the future, whereas that's what clairvoyants are. It's more about real time thought transportation. In both directions. So a common scenario could be the ability of not just finishing someone's sentence, which is, you know, something a lot of even non empaths do, but starting and finishing a sentence that someone else is thinking while they're talking about another subject completely. Or they might have just had a pause and the telepathic empath may jump in before the other person even talks and. Says the whole thought out. And the other person goes, ohh, I was just thinking about that. How did you know that? That's a common thing that could happen to a telepathic empath.
Speaker
Next number 5 is psychometric empaths. So they have the ability to receive information from objects like photographs or even locations that are significant to somebody. So a common thing could be when they hold a photo from somebody, somebody close to them might give them a photo of somebody close to that person who has passed away. And when the psychometric empath feels the photo, they feel the emotions of the sadness of their friend of the and their missing of the deceased loved one or get a really strong. Ah, feeling of nostalgia if they give them a family heirloom to hold or something. So it's through the objects they can dive deep into the emotions there yeah, so number six is dream empaths and dream empaths are very vivid dreamers, and they're exceptionally good at recalling the details.
Speaker
And often dream empaths are drawn to professions involving creativity and imagination. And because they're able to remember their dreams very accurately, they are also often lucid dreamers. So lucid dreaming is when you wake U in the dream and you have consciousness within the dream state. And dream empaths can do that more easily than others, purely because they're so used to being in the world of dreams and when they're recalling the dreams. They have to ask themselves about reality. Is this real or is this a dream? I know myself, I've been a lucid dreamer since I was a child.
Speaker
And the more you cross that bridge and bring back your dreams here and recall them, the more you also have a consciousness about the difference between dreams and reality. So by spending time with the dream in conscious reality when you're in the dream. You then it's like an inverse experience and you spend time in dreamland. Considering conscious reality, and that is a kind, it kind of wakes you up in there because you've.
Speaker
The bridge is yeah, eat more. It's maybe a shorter bridge between the two places. And often another thing for dream empaths is they. And they get to understand what their dream symbols mean for them and create their own language of what that means. So it's less about what what it means. In the Dream books, you might look up the symbolism, but dream empaths? Well, I know that's happened for me is.
Speaker
There's certain things that happen that mean certain things. For example, for me, I have a strong snake ohh symbol so when a snake of any form comes to me in a dream, it's always two days after. Something quite intense happens in my life. It's not always bad and it's. It can be also good, but it's it's about an intense experience. It could be um. Yeah, in either direction. But it's something. It always gives me a little warning and it's usually two days. It's not one day, it's not three days, always two days. So yeah, that's. I've noticed that happening over my lifetime. Number seven is the plant empath, so plant empaths can feel the needs of plants and connect with what's inside them.
Speaker
So plants are sensitive beings then they communicate through colour and scent and texture and movement and plant and flora with another name is flora empaths. They can tune in to all of that in a much deeper way. And it's common for them to spend lots of time in nature because they feel really at home amongst their peers and their friends plants. And yeah, I think a lot of empaths love plants and animals. And next is Earth empaths. So number eight earth empath they their minds are really in harmony with mother Earth and.
Speaker
Empaths that have this ability, they're really extra sensitive to the changes in the environment and also with natural disasters, often they can actually feel. The pain of earthquakes and forest fires, and even have the ability to foresee them before they occur through their dreams or through premonition. So it's a back to the radio receivers having that. Information channel directly to how beautiful mother earth so. Empath number nine is animal empaths and they are empaths who have a very special relationship with animals and able to sense and communicate their needs.
Speaker
So as we know most. Animals communicate in their language, but animal empaths can tune in frequency wise to feel what their needs are. And the other name for an animal empath is a fauna empath and it goes beyond just tuning into the body language. They can actually sense the feelings of the animal as if they were speaking. And it gives them a big advantage when it when it comes to animal communication, because there's they pick up on the subtle body language that normal regular empaths or normal humans may miss. And yeah, animal empaths just love being around animals, and often more than humans.
Speaker
And many it's very likely that they're vegan as well. They don't want to eat their friends. Number ten is psychic empaths. There's they're also called medium empaths, and they have an intuitive understanding of life after death. They're able to tap into the spiritual realm and use their extra sensory energy to gain insights into things that are happening right now and today. But the way they do it all depends on their spiritual belief system, and it's very unlikely you'll find or meet any atheist psychic empaths.
Speaker
They usually have some kind of spiritual belief, and yeah, they'll use different methods to. Accessing those insights and yeah. Then we have the number 11 indigo empath, and this isn't to be confused with Indigo children. An indigo empath is sensitive to matters of morality and ethics, and there they can easily recognise when someone is acting immoral or unethical. And they're very drawn to people who act with a sense of justice and virtue and virtue. So an indigo empath is. Really more concerned and connected with people's goodness rather than their niceness. And they can tune in they can, tell when that's superficial, they they're able to.
Speaker
See the true integrity of people, and that really matters to them. Integrity is a very big value to an indigo empath. And they're likely to spot a narcissist faster than other empaths because they're tuned into the frequency of morality and humanity and authenticity yeah so. Well, actually saying that number 12 precognitive empaths, they could actually probably see a narcissist coming faster than an indigo empasse because. Precognitive empaths. They can, um, tune into a possible consequence of a situation. And like a time they're in more in the timeline of being able to feel the future. And they can tune in quite with high accuracy and.
Speaker
Feel that trajectory to foresee the events that are coming up. And they're able to recognise patterns and. Anticipate outcomes. And yeah, they're the kinds of empaths who know what's just around the corner. So pretty cluey. The precognitive cognitive empaths. And number thirteen is heyoka empath. So heyoka means sacred clown or spiritual fool in the Lakota or Dakota Native American dialects. And they're the rarest and most powerful empaths and can act as a psychological mirror for those around them to help them grow.
Speaker
They tend to have an unorthodox attitude, so their behaviour can cause them to. The people around them to reexamine their views of the world, they are they stir things up, they like stirring things up and it might be confronting initially, but the outcome is one of development so. You could imagine a hiyoko empath being someone who regularly posts controversial content on social media. And it could be actually, yeah, Ahyoka empath doing people a favour even though they don't realise they're just a bit of cheeky fire to speed up evolution.
Speaker
No, that's them. Then we've got number fourteen super empaths, and I've personally defined a super empath based on my 5 finger theory and my 1-2-3 theory. So they have the order in order they they have won themselves to their loved ones 3 the rest of the world. So they've transformed from A213 or A321 into a 1-2-3 And they are holistically healthy. So they've mastered the domains. This is the five finger theory of mind, heart, body, soul and purpose, as well as face their shadows. And they're basically, they've gone from just surviving to thriving and every cylinder is firing.
Speaker
So that's a super impath. And that's exactly why I've created this podcast and my book, the 1-2-3 theory and even my thick talk account. So if you want to become a super empath, just keep tuning into these podcasts and you can checkout my book the 1-2-3 theory out the 1-2-3 theory.com And or check out tik tok i've been posting. A lot more content on there.
Speaker
So that will all help you become a supreme path. And speaking about Tik tok i had a really amazing week on tik tok my stats were a bit mind boggling i managed to get one million four hundred views in total from various videos this week which is really exciting because i only started this a couple of months ago and. But The funny thing is that tick tock really prefers me to be a man because my posts where I have a male voice over. Are all the more popular so. Yeah, I'm sorry, mum. If Mum listens to this, I think I'm gonna change my name to Dave.
Speaker
Mum had a dream where I. Was she said I was half getting famous or something strange was happening and I said to the manager. Um, I'm changing my name to Dave and Mum said no, I don't want you to be Dave. She likes my name, Esther. She called me that for a reason. Anyway, I've got a joke going on with mum, and especially now that the the most famous tick tocks, the ones that people seem to like, are a male voice, who I'm now calling Dave.
Speaker
So it's my it's my pen name for tick tock, sorry, mum i'm gonna. I am a Gemini after all. So I'm gonna be Esther and Dave. For a while. Anyway, then we've got sorry for that side track. Then we've got number fifteen combination empath, and that's a mixture of two or more from the list. And it's very common to be a combination and have moments. Of different traits from the different other empaths. You might have a primary empath that you are and secondary ones, and you might have got some ideas of some of the other skills that the other empaths have that you want to develop so.
Speaker
Yeah, it's interesting to think about which one you are and. That I'm going to this sending me a short podcast. Shorter, slightly shorter than other podcasts today. So I'm gonna leave you the very bit of a strong song today. And it's because I often see empaths are like light workers, bringing our big heart, our radiant hearts to this planet and shining brightly and. I have no idea what lays beyond the reality we're currently living in. I don't know if this is all a big simulation or hologram or.
Speaker
What's outside of time? What were we before we were us? What's happening when we're finished? What about God? What about the all that is? What about everything beyond what we can feel and sense here? I don't know the answers to this, but sometimes they you get these feelings. Well, I do, and maybe you do too. That seemed to come. From another they might be, they might be in the form of inspiration, or you might write a song, or.
Speaker
Oh, like writing a book sometimes that's when you for me, I feel into these little inklings and. In my mind, sometimes it feels like they maybe they come from a different star system, or wherever it is, there is a place beyond the sun and. We know there's a place beyond the sun. It's the rest of the universe, and sometimes these stirrings happen. And sometimes even in your dreams or in the form of getting goosebumps, or maybe a sun ray goes into your eye from a strange angle and you just get this little.
Speaker
This little taste from beyond the sun, from our vast cosmos. But the one thing that is really clear to me quite often is despite what's beyond it all and despite if there's. Inspiration that comes from inside ourselves or externally, and we bring it through. The thing that's really important is we are here right now as human beings, having a physical human experience, that's for sure. We are here regardless. If it's a simulation, we're having a. Physical what feels to be physical human experience and. This song is just to remind you to enjoy the physicality of it.
Speaker
It's a message from beyond the sun to remind you today to really enjoy the physicality of what it is to be a human living right now on planet Earth. So this is beyond the sun from my November Fox EP, time to shine ohh we love so. Controls me this. We are giving one more chance. We are living through this. Fill me. I'm breathing with me. I came home social ohh. That was beyond the sun from my November Fox EP, time to Shine. And with that, my beautiful, shining, beautiful empaths. Whatever type of empath you are, you are amazing. And I love you.
Speaker
And I am so happy you tuned in today, because it means that I'm doing the right thing of making these podcasts. Hopefully it means that you're enjoying them and getting some value from them. And if that's the case, I'm very grateful and thank you for tuning in. And I look forward to sharing some more thoughts and feelings and philosophies and inklings from beyond the sun next week.
